Our Program

Our primary objective is to provide a physical and emotional environment in which the intellectually disabled adult is allowed to grow personally, socially, and academically at an unhurried pace.  It is our goal to achieve this growth by providing daily social and learning experiences in basic living skills that will allow these special individuals to lead more meaningful, independent, and creative lives.
The Institute approaches this task with the attitude that our clients are capable of learning new skills and growing personally, except at a slower pace.  We seek to help these special individuals to discover and develop their innate talents so they may experience the joys of accomplishment and that special sense of personal dignity which accompanies achievement.
Our program goal is to simply give those intellectually disabled individuals who come through our doors a sense of love, belonging, companionship, and a meaningful life that might otherwise have gone unrealized.
